PRE-REQUISITES FOR TRAUMA TRAINING AND COMPASSION FATIGUE RESILIENCY COURSES

CLINICAL TRAUMATOLOGIST
Designed for mental health care professionals who have a minimum of a Master's degree completed or in progress, related to a clinical or counselling field OR a minimum of 4-years with a counselling mandate along with regular supervision.

COMMUNITY & WORKPLACE TRAUMATOLOGIST
No special requirements or degrees are necessary for this entry-level non-counselling training stream. Designed for professionals, paraprofessionals, and volunteers who work with trauma survivors or trauma-related matters.

EARLY INTERVENTION FIELD TRAUMATOLOGIST (1001)
This is an entry-level program and no pre-requisites are required to receive Field Trauma designation other than successful course completion. First responders (e.g., fire/rescue, emergency medical services, law enforcement, etc.) as well as mental health and health care professionals will benefit from Field Trauma training.

COMPASSION FATIGUE RESILIENCY & RECOVERY - EDUCATOR (107)
This is an entry-level program and no pre-requisites are required to receive the Compassion Fatigue Educator designation other than successful course completion.

COMPASSION FATIGUE SPECIALIST - THERAPIST (207)
This course is for mental health care professionals with a minimum of a Master's degree (or an M.A. in progress), or 4-years of counselling work with on-going supervision.
